Studio Instructor, Interior Design Program
Elizabeth Wersells has a Bachelor in Fine Arts in art from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Harrington College of Design. She has studied at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago and the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina and has participated in study abroad programs through Northern Illinois University and The Art Institute of Chicago. She earned a master’s degree in education from DePaul in 2008.
Elizabeth is a professional member of IIDA and IDEC and has passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam. Her work experience as an interior designer includes positions at several Chicago architectural firms before organizing her own interior design practice located in River North.
Through the International Studies program at Harrington, she has been the instructor for Harrington's 2005 program in Rome and 2006 program in Florence and Tuscany. In 2009, she led a study abroad trip to Rome and south to Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano.
