Transfer Student Admissions Process
Students who previously attended a nationally or regionally accredited college or university may receive transfer credit if the courses taken are applicable to their undergraduate program at Harrington College of Design. Students may transfer no more than half of their total undergraduate program credits, and only grades of C or above will be considered. Students interested in transfer credit are responsible for having official transcripts and other requested documents forwarded to Harrington for review prior to submitting an application with the admissions office.
To be considered for admission, transfer students also must complete the required materials and processes noted on the First-Time College Student admissions process page.
Advanced Placement and CLEP Credit
AP credit is accepted for some Harrington courses. Students must receive a score of 3 or higher on the AP exam for credit to be considered. CLEP course work is also accepted. Contact an academic advisor for specific course information.
