Radio Interview with Design in a BagChicago-area interior designer and Harrington College graduate, Rebekah Zaveloff, has been receiving some awesome press for quite some time now. Most recently we saw her pop up in HGTV Magazine and in numerous features on HGTV’s website as part of their designer portfolio (see her work on the site here: http://www.hgtv.com/designers-portfolio/search.do?N=4294957089). After graduating in 2001 with an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design degree, Rebekah went on to be a co-found a company named KitchenLab and Design in a Bag (DIAB) with her designer husband, Nick Nichols, in Chicago. Each of her companies offers a unique twist of services to their clients:

KitchenLab (http://www.kitchenlabchicago.com/) is a Chicago based interiors firm specializing in kitchen and bath design. Providing extensive interior design services primarily for kitchen and bathroom projects, KitchenLab uses a measured approach, designing innovative concepts and creative solutions for remodeling projects, additions and new construction. The firm places a strong emphasis on the marriage between their client’s aesthetics and the stylistic integrity of the home’s architecture, always keeping the lifestyle and taste of their clients in mind.

Design in a Bag (DIAB) (http://designinabag.com/) is an online interior design resource providing professionally coordinated looks for kitchen and bath. Blending classic and modern styles, each “kitchen in a bag” or “bath in a bag” is an interior design recipe for that room, and includes all of the necessary elements to help you create a stylish and successful design for a new kitchen or bath. Inside each design in a bag can be found: cabinetry finishes showing color and wood species, countertop and tile selections, shopping / resource list, 4 large-format paint swatches and coordinating architectural drawings illustrating the finishes and wall colors. All of these elements combine to help the buyer envision and create their dream kitchen or bath. Find out more about the company from a radio interview with Rebekah at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZCIItWvAJM!

Congrats to Rebekah, we’re proud of all that you have accomplished!
