Public Call for Donations: Harrington's IMAGINE 2012 Charity Art Auction

Call for art!  The Harrington Student Government needs your help making our popular annual charity art auction, IMAGINE 2012, a success!

We are accepting donations of artwork for this auction through March 16 - any and all forms of displayable art from Harrington alumni, faculty, students and the general public are appreciated! Donations can be dropped off at Harrington with the Suite 212 receptionist.

By donating your work, you can give to a great cause: this year, IMAGINE will donate the proceeds from the auction to Chicago’s Tree House Humane Society, an organization that believes in the inherent value of every animal and is committed to finding every healthy and treatable animal a home.

There are other ways to support this great cause - join us Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m. for an evening of auctioning art works created by local artists and students! This event is open to the public.

Please contact the Harrington Student Government with any questions at

About the Tree House Humane Society

Since its founding, Tree House has rescued and adopted more than 16,000 stray cats. Tree House’s efforts include a spay/neuter center, in-house veterinary clinic for chronic and acute care, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) feral and stray cat program, TNR feral colony support and education, feline care and behavior counseling, Pet Food Pantry program and Education Outreach program.

Tree House envisions a time when spay/neuter efforts and effective adoption programs will eliminate the euthanasia of companion animals. Learn more at
