Harrington College of Design’s IMAGINE 2012 event, hosted by the Harrington Student Government, featured a live art auction highlighting the works of local artists and students. As part of the event, Harrington instructors Megan Sterling and Duffy O’Connor once again created a printmaking masterpiece, shown below. Limited quantities of the exclusive poster were sold before, during and after the event, with all proceeds going toward a local charity, Tree House Humane Society.
After all was said and done, Harrington College of Design was able to donate over $2,400 to the Tree House Humane Society! "This money will go a long way to care for sick, injured, abused and neglected stray cats and help to spay/neuter/vaccinate several cats and dogs as well,” said Jenny Schlueter, director of development at Tree House. “Thanks again for Harrington College of Design's wonderful generosity. We had a fantastic time at the event, and I have no doubt that the additional promotion will have long-lasting effects as well."
We’re proud to support this great local shelter and looks forward to hosting IMAGINE 2013 – don’t miss it!
