Harrington Luminaire Field Trip

Harrington Interior Design students recently had the opportunity to visit the resplendent furniture design showroom of Luminaire, located in the heart of Chicago. Senior Interior Associate Gulcin Gacek at Luminaire led the tour, taking students around the showroom and explaining the different furniture pieces and Luminaire’s way of doing business.

One piece students viewed in the showroom was the “Revolving Cabinet” shown above, produced by Cappellini and designed by Shiro Kuramata.

See more glimpses of the trip here.

Many thanks to Luminaire for this opportunity and all the others – we appreciate your time and the opportunity to continue a beautiful design relationship!
