Programs highlighted include Interior Design, Graphic/Communication Design and Photography.
"’The Best of 2013 Exhibition’ showcases the strongest work from all the programs at Harrington, as selected by our instructors. Our institution is Chicago’s design school and the work is impressive,” said Brad Kisner, Dean of Instruction, Harrington College of Design.
Founded in 1931 when Frances Harrington, a practicing interior designer from New York, began a lecture series in Chicago for professionals, Harrington has since evolved to offer both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Interior Design. Harrington’s Photography class recently received local and national attention when they sent a camera to the edge of space to take a photo of the earth. In addition, the practice-based Communication Design and Graphic Design classes were able to work with 25 actual clients in 2013.
